Steve McGowan

Principal/Licensee Steve opened L.J. Hooker Erina in July 1996 with business partner, Wayne Dowling and since then the office has grown from nothing with a staff of three to a thriving, successful business, currently with 10 loyal staff, incorporating both sales and property management.
Entering his 23rd year in real estate and 15 years with L.J. Hooker, Steve has an extensive and impressive real estate background. A resident of Green Point for over 20 years and currently residing in Erina, his intimate knowledge and focus on these two suburbs has helped create a comprehensive and valuable database designed to assist vendors to identify the right buyer and gain the optimum price for their property. Steve has regularly been a member of the L. J. Hooker Captain's Club and Multi-Million Dollar chapter and at one stage held the title of Vice President of the NSW Captain's Club. The most pleasing and satisfying awards were in 2006 when Steve and Wayne received the "Gold Logie" of the NSW Annual Awards, NSW/ACT Franchise Owner of the Year! More recently, and with even greater recognition, L. J. Hooker Erina received the inaugural "Chairman's Award" at the L. J. Hooker International Conference, held in Phuket, Thailand in 2010. This award was presented to the Erina office by Executive Chairman and grandson of the founder L. Janusz Hooker. The gong recognised the office as a 'cohesive team all working together to achieve the best results for their clients, a team player within their region and a true team player within the network'. Heavily involved in the local community, Steve was elected three years ago to the Board of the Erina Leagues Club and also a life member of the Erina Junior RLFC.
